Bob Moffa places 2nd, 3rd and 10th

Several months ago I joined my camera club to compete in the North Georgia Camera Club Council 2010 Shootout at beautiful Berry College.  The premise is that each of the twelve clubs photograph five subjects and submit ten photos in each category to the judges.  The Cherokee Photo Club, of which I’ve been a member for about five years, fielded about 40 people so we divided up  into five groups, each getting one category.

Now, this is my time to gloat.  Three of the ten images that my group submitted were mine and they placed 2nd, 3rd and 10th, raking up a ton of points for out group and ensuring a first place finish.  Even if I weren’t there we may have won because our talented group showed up all over the leader board.

It’s an honor to be a part of a wonderful photo club.  Not only are they talented, but they are a lot of fun to hang out with.

I recently had the pleasure of working with model and clothing designer, Keisy Myumi.  She is the first to model for my upcoming line of Hawaiian shirts and while in the studio, we photographed some of her custom designed bikinis.
